Michal Salomon Visits Englewood on Behalf of Rescuers Without Borders

(Courtesy of Hatzalah) A spillover crowd filled the home of Andrew and Leah Harary of Englewood for a presentation by Michal Salomon, who saved her five children from a terror attack that took the lives of her husband, Elad Salomon, and his father and sister, Yosef and Chaya Salomon. In a recent hearing, the terrorist stated that he chose the house because he heard laughter coming from the home, where family had gathered to celebrate the birth of a new baby.

Visiting to benefit Rescuers Without Borders, which provides emergency services and equipment to communities in Yesha, Salomon emphasized that their volunteers were the first call, the first to arrive on the scene and the ones who saved her mother-in-law, who was also stabbed in the attack. A video presentation highlighted their live-saving work both in Israel and in missions across the globe. Natalie Sopinsky, who works for RWB and is touring with Salomon, also spoke briefly about urgent communal needs, including for emergency response kits and defibrillators to save lives in towns that can be over an hour from the nearest hospital.
