SOS Hatzalah is an application of emergency and first-aid operation which connects immediately of people in need of a rescue (or witnesses of an accident) with professional and/or volunteers rescuers located nearby (500 meters in urban areas and up to 15kms in rural areas).
In the process of a DOUBLE alert, SOS Hatzalah allows users to contact all public emergency services (101 ambulance, 102 firefighters, 100 Police, 911 Global Emergency), mandatory action during any emergency.
The intervention of a qualified rescuer in the few minutes between the call to public emergency services and their actual arrival on site may be vital for the accident victim(s).
To its Users, SOS Hatzalah allows two types of registration:
Emergency Caller or Rescuer
When one or more rescuers accept the notification of one alert, they can be directly connected by phone with the emergency caller.
The GPS location of the alert provided by the map of the application, as well as a navigation route, guide rescuers up to the exact location of the intervention.
